Question: Can I pick the product up from your location?
      Answer: No, we are an online company only and we do not have a store front where customer can pick items up, but we can ship anywhere within the contiguous 48 United States.

Question: Do you have local distributors?
      Answer: We are an online distributor and ship straight to your door.

Question: If I bought a unit from another company and it is missing pieces or is damaged.  What do I do?
      Answer: You will need to go back to the people you bought it from for product support.  We do not do warranty for other companies, but if you bought the product through us please give us a call and we will be able to help you.

Question: If I need a part for a DESA product where do I go?
      Answer: We sell parts online and you can print a free manual from our web page.  Please go to Master Parts Distributors.  This site distributes parts throughout the US for brands such as Comfort Glow, Glo-Warm, Reddy, Master, Remington, Vanguard, and many more.

Question: I am interested in buying a propane heater.  What size propane tank do I need?
      Answer:  Most of our heaters require a 100 lb. tank or larger unless they state otherwise in the heater description.  If you need more information please go to our Propane Vaporization Chart and call your local propane dealer.

Question:  I am concerned about odors and carbon monoxide from my vent free blue flame or infrared heater?
     Answer: 
Vent free heaters are designed to burn as clean as possible. However, there may be particles in the air from other household materials that when mixed with the combustion air the unit is using, give off the scent of kerosene. Typical odor producing prod.

Question: How do I convert a vent free heater or fireplace?
      Answer: Vent free heaters may not be changed from one gas type to another. The American Gas Association/Canadian Standard Association certifies the unit according to the gas type used. Changing this type will change the certification as well as void the warrant and most of the time it is more expensive to convert the product than it is to buy a new unit.

Question:  What is the difference between an electronic ignition and a pilot?
    
Answer:The standing pilot system is a self-contained millivolt system. You do not need a 110 power source to operate the fireplace. The pilot model will operate during a power outage. The electronic model will not operate when there is a power outage.

Question:  Can I use the Master or Reddy construction heaters in your home or garage for heating?
     Answer:  The kerosene, propane, or natural gas construction heaters may not be used for home heating, even temporarily. This heater is designed to operate on a construction site or similarly open environment. The heater can be used in semi-closed buildings.  Please read the owner's manual for details.

Question:  Can I duct my construction heater?
    
Answer:  Adding ducts or pipe work will cause heat build up in the heater causing poor combustion and the motor to burn out. Adding ducts or pipes to the heater will void the warranty.


Question: How do I track my order once it has been placed?
      Answer: Because the products are not shipped from our location we ask for your patience in receiving your order.  All orders are given a rough time frame for delivery at the time of purchase.  Please allow for that time frame before calling us to get your tracking number.  If the product(s) you are ordering have exceeded that time frame we will be glad to track your order down and provide the information you need to find your order.  Once you have the tracking number you can go to our Tracking Page and keep an eye on your order while you wait for delivery.  Almost all of the shippers we use are listed on this tracking page.
